What are the best ways to sell domains (to end users)?

I notice that several people use email - how do you find your prospects?

Do you conduct market research first? If so, how?

What tools or services do you use?

What constitutes a really good name????


I appreciate that any answers may be "trade secrets", but I would appreciate some guidance. I suspect that others would as well.
