I do several sites that post reviews of some businesses that have hit me with nasty lawyer letters. I am usually willing to comply but I have found a few things of interest recently.
1) interesting info: http://www.scam.com/crap/case.pdf
2) always include a trademark symbol next to the name of the company or product
3) dont use metatags with brand info in them and dont steal images.
Just thought I'd throw this out there since several of us are in that part of the business.
