takes 5 to 10 days to renew the name at Registerfly?

I renewed a name at Registerfly now it says it's 'pending transfer/renewal' and will take 5 to 10 days. Until then it can't allow me to make any updates at akll like changing name servers etc. I called their support and they say that is how it works!! it's ridiculous!! Any one had this issue before?

Yes , have had many problems there , I think when you renew the names is when they transfer it out of enom to their own system, thats why the 5 days.

I had similar problems last year. I renewed my domain but it was not updated in my account immediately. I had to chase them very hard to update it for me. Am not sure what they do with their system! Doesn't seem to be real-time.
