Forgive me Phil, his name is misspelled... it's Phil Fischer - he is a DOT COM GOD - as his name on NP says so. He is also a successful Domainer and Developer and a Singer. I love his work and he advised me and with in 24 hours I sold this name. LOL MAGIC!

Lol, "NamePros Phil Fishcher" google search comes up with RJ saying the following:

RJ said:
An open letter to everyone....

I'm posting this thread as a place to respond to a truly "stellar" human being named Phil Fischer that wants to do everything within his limited power to close down NamePros and publicly embarrass me because I refused to agree pay him off (including a $10,000 fee for pain and suffering) after his account was temporarily closed.

And you know what, I don't really care.

Being the class act that he is, Phil started a thread at DNForum calling me a scammer, posting my home address, posting about my wife, and threatening that our site will be closed down by the end of the month.

The DNF thread has already been removed, but not at my request. I don't have anything to hide. I have run an honest business and Rachel and I do our best to help others anytime we can. Even to the point of losing money.

Yes, Rachel and I have tried to maintain a level of privacy in our online identities. It's dangerous not to. However we realize that we're going to have to sacrifice some of our personal privacy if we are to remain the public faces of a site this size.

So I can't speak for my wife, but I present myself here before you all as an open book. Go ahead, ask Ron anything...

Sincerely,

Ron

He seems like a very nice person, don't know about this issue. I also like Ron... let's keep this thread on topic. If you like to discuss Phil, please start your own thread.

Cheers

I was curious and obviously others were curious as to who he is and that is all that seems to come up for this guy when you search him. I don't doubt he isn't a nice guy or isn't a "Dot Com KING", but that's what we know other than what you are claiming.

Normal hosting company would know the rules - no push until payment made. I still stick with my rules.
I am not sure what is the reason he/she asked you to push first?

Ive never had a problem pushing domains to endusers - always been paid with in 24hours of domain transfer

i did it again, just sold a domain to a travel company and pushed the domain to their account first. I find this method to work best when you deal with established end users who can't afford to have scandals on their belt!

deal is mid $$$

Companies would not risk their reputation for $XXXX or any amount.

The thing is they aren't risking their reputation. If a big company doesn't pay you who will ever know? It could turn into a war of words. I don't see why they can't pay first, or use escrow. Pushing the domain without payment gives away your only bargaining chip. It may turn out ok most of the time like this case, but if you keep doing it eventually you'll get burned by someone.

stay curious and ask questions

anytime someone can mention another individual in praise or in conjunction with their success, you owe it to yourself if interested, to investigate.

thus, i am curious as to where this advocacy of "pushing before getting paid" will lead to

hopefully, no one will persuaded to adopt such a policy, philosophy or way of doing business without realizing the consequences.

imo...

Hey Hope, thats what happens you sell three in a day or two then sell none for a couple of months, thats the way it goes, say $25k in one month then nothing for the next two months.

That's why it's part time for me,maybe if i could $250k a year it could become full time for me.
