Question... GoDaddy is charging $700 us for the .mx is there a less expensive place to buy?

On September 1st started the “Registration Phase” for domains .mx from Mexico, and that means that everyone interested on a .mx domain can register it without any restrictions.

The peculiarity about this phase is that the price of domains .mx will be reduced progressively each day until they reach their minimum price on October 31st, which is the last day of the “Registration Phase”.

The actual price for an annual registration is 209.99 usd at GoDaddy, so the price has decreased almost 800 usd since the first day (the first price at NIC.MX was 1000 usd). During this period the price will go done progressively until it gets situated on 35 usd on October 31st.
The domain renewals will have a cost following the current prices next year (aprox. 50$/year)

Take this opportunity and register the best domains .mx during this phase, because further on, they will probably be registered. :thumb:.

(As it goes lower, you narrow your opportunity to grab decent domain.).
