The tech giants like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc are gearing up for a battle over the new gTLDs.

Considering how Amazon outbid Google to get hold of .Buy new gTLD, names like .wow, .book, .cloud, .movie are expected to see huge bids in the auction.
The interest of these giants in the new gTLDs could help fuel these new gTLDs to the mainstream public.
