closed Teensupermarket.com & flipflopwarehouse.com

Hiya guys

I am all new to this web domain and ecommerce world and I am finding it hard to get going so I would appreciate any advice on what I should ask for if I was to sell the above domain names? They are both at Go Daddy and still have many months to expire any info is well appreciated.

I would think that the more valuable of the two would be FlipFlopWarehouse its more direct and could very easily be developed into an affiliate sales site. I would estimate that name to go for low to mid $x,xxx to the right buyer (which you could spend years trying to find) I would recommend developing flipflop and make it an affiliate site and sell it for a couple grand.

Many thanks for that honest assestment, If I was to use teensupermarket.com what would you suggest is its market value.

I know that moneysupermarket.com is now worth millions thanks to its price comparison useage and I was thinking of using teensupermarket.com for a teen price comparison or a listings site for teens to sell unwanted goods?

unfortunately the teen search seems to really only be popular in relation to adult names. Anything shopping related with high searches is generic stuff like shopping mall or stores, nothing teen related really as far as I can see. Now when you start to get into money related names I agree they can fetch some high prices but unfortunately I think you are shooting low with the teen name. Now, as the sicko in me comes out I say if you wanted to go with an adult site, call it teen supermarket and sell XXX videos that are Teen related well, then we are talking a different story.

I like the sicko inside you how would one make money from such an adult site and even go about setting one up which is something I never really though of before but as you said sicko inside us is playing mind games with the devil

Although I have never set one up, mostly because of hosting restrictions etc. I would imagine the easiest way would be to setup an affiliate site where you would promote adult movies, products, etc related to the teen adult industry. This in turn would net you a percentage of net sales of those products. Not an easy market to get into with the amount of stuff out there already but with the name you have would be prime for it. Do a search for adult affiliate or teen affiliate.
