thanks everyone, that was a nice sale. My business partner and I spent a lot on it too though. Its a top product name with 4 letters, and one of the products most frequently sold online, I actually think if you are starting up a Tees store it will pay off in a rather short amount of time considering the margins for custom tees. If there is a real store behind this name SEO and generic traffic alone will reach 60-100k visitors a year, and at CPCs of 2-3 bucks the domain will basically pay for itself in 2 years net if done right. Good luck to the buyer, hope it works out for him as well.

congrats domainah

But IMO, this went a bit cheap, really.
You could make the same amount in a single month from an online T-shirt store. The folks at CollegeHumor.com make 200k a month just from t shirt sales...just get some designs, put up a page with cafepress, and you would be ready to go.

So it is a TM for a design of the words and not use ?

For example they do not hold the mark for tees in asscoiation to marketing, printing or selling t shirts etc.

It says "G & S: T-shirts"

IANAL but regardless of what the mark is for . .. it's a problem imho

It is a problem based on use and design in respect to said mark. Otherwise it is open for attack as much as any name.

not really.we bought the domain from the person with that TM. Our contract states that the TM can be used by the previous owner only until 12.31.2007..please guys.. I am a pro.. and if you guys would have done a little more research instead of just looking up a TM you would have see in the whois history who the previous owner was

It says "G & S: T-shirts"

IANAL but regardless of what the mark is for . .. it's a problem imho

To be Clear: Its not a problem. In our contract we addressed the TM and the person that is listed here sold us the domain and agreed to give up all rights on the TM 12.31.2007. If you have any further questions, please let me know before making statements you have no knowledge about. Thanks
