Saw Duke's DNjournal report yesterday that TexasHoldem.se sold for $14,681 and now we're considering selling this one. What's it worth?

I'm guessing 20-25k

May I ask why you leave the index page blank?

ahh ok
excellent domain, btw...
fits the extension very well ;)

TexasHoldem.us is better than the .se version, in my opinion. You should not
sell the domain to an end user for less than $15,000. Try to sell it for a price
of $20,000+.

Sorry to spoil the hype folks, but I don't agree. It seems to me that the people that bought TexasHoldem.se hope to recoup their costs thru poker affiliates and it's going to take them quite a while to do that (at least at the rate they seem to be going now). As for TexasHoldem.us, it's value is going to be all about what it can produce thru developmement, I really don't think too many people (i know it just takes one)would have interest in buying the domain "as is" for big bucks. I think it's only gonna be worth what you develop it into and the traffic you create for it.

I think the sale of the .se version has set a benchmark,
you really shouldn't sell for less than 15k now.

The .us version should be worth more than .se

Yes, it will take more money to set up a site and
market it, but the buyer would probably be a person
or company who is already involved in the poker world,
and would have the money to do so.

Poker seems to keep growing with no signs of letting up.

So I think the 15k would be a minimum, maybe the people
who bought .se overpaid, who knows, but I think you are looking
at at least 15k, up to 25k.

(with good promotion I don't think it would take long
to recoup 15k with poker affiliate programs, if you know
how to go about it)
