I've always experimented with exotic extensions ... from .ME to .DJ. So even though I'm critical of the new extensions overall, I do see room for them to succeed here and there. We'll see.

One reason I like Textures.graphics is that Textures are ALL a form of graphics. There are something like 22,000 monthly exacts for [textures] in Google, including some advertisers and lots of websites all about Textures, sometimes offering them for sale. So I don't really see "Textures" fitting well with any other extension among the new ones. Plus, "Textures" and "Graphics" are both 8 letters long, which can make for some cool logo designs:

We'll see if any web or graphic designers want to invest in this one and build a business for themselves. I've set the reserve low just to find out.
