closed TGP site...help and suggestions please!

I have a couple of adult domain names which I like to develop into a TGP site...I am pretty new to adult development, and have no idea about the adult market....

Any one of you run a adult TGP? What's the best way to go?

If it is going to be really complicated, I am just going to sell the domain :-D

I'd like to find a script for this as well. I just regged LTGP.com (possibly Lesbian TGP or Latin TGP), let me know if anyone has a link to a script/affiliate or script itself.

AutoGallery Pro is what most people use or Comus Thumbs if you have more money.

Honestly, id find something else to do, TGPs are usually more of a bandwidth leech than a money maker unless you know what your doing. Only thing I could find them good for was if you ran a paysite you could use it to advertsie your site.

I've got about 8 or 10 TGPs and use Auto Gallery Pro on each. I use TTT for traffic trades.

If you're unfamiliar with adult and have no traffic, your TGP will sit and make nothing. Do you have time to make galleries every day? If you use nothing but sponsor-hosted galleries or free sponsor content you won't do well, since all newbies go that route.

Do you have a niche in mind? Niche-specific TGPs do much much better.

They don't always make money. My largest one gets only a few signups a day, but it feeds traffic to my main website, and with 1/5th the traffic it gets 9 times the signups.

Right now there are literally thousands of new TGPs every day as people think they're paving the road to riches. Unless you're getting 50k hits a day, you can't live off of the TGP.

You're probably better off either selling the domain or better yet, put up a full-page ad from a sponsor, submit it to search engines and get links with other adult sites. Top lists are a great way to generate traffic, too.
