Depends on what you spent.

It's a good domain that deserves to be registered and (ideally) used.

It wouldn't surprise me to see an end-user sale above $2k for HiphopTV.com. There's some range on that possibility too, meaning that it could go higher.

That said, such a sale is not guaranteed. It's a domain that I'd buy rather than let it drop.

My advice would be to try and acquire HipHop.TV and try to sell it as one package to an end user. There are plenty of "hip-hop" music portals that may consider it. However, if you don't want to take any more risk and dip more money into it, I'd say you have yourself a good purchase.

I just set it up as a small for sale site with some hip hop videos on it. Think that is good enough for passive sales or should I put it on sedo/aftermarket and some of the other websites.

If I were you I would start contacting the endless number of hip hop forums and websites. Someone is bound to show interest.
