I think we should be allowed to use banners in our signatures. GFY does it and some of those guys make serious coin off them.

We do. It's an exclusive feature.

Thank god this isnt GFY!!!

And those TCG banners or whatever they are are annoying as hell.

What do they pay, 20 cents per post.

As well, have you seen the value of posts @ GFY?

The members there are ridiculas!

I agree. Having banners in signatures is a very sensitive feature to introduce, especially if they can be animated.

dnforum = 50k?
GFY = 1M?

I bet DCG wishes this had the number of posts and sponsors as GFY. Some of the guys there sell their signatures for $1k+ per month.

More internal banner advertising will cause/incentivise more posts??? As Professor Farnsworth would say, "Eh, Whu--?"

GFY has more activity because it has a much wider audience (not to mention, they are a different type of forum).

I believe dcg has granted this conditionally that he approves the banner first, nex.

Thanks Mole. I knew something must be in place.

Very true. :-)

Hey, DCG, being the original designer behind the current Gold and Platinum medals, can't I become exclusive for free? Please? d:-) (just kidding)

Was the banner worth the extra $300?

You mean, will the banner be worth the extra $300? I haven't got mine yet, spider :-(

LOL! Being a public defender of the "integrity" of your original design (if you still remember that episode), I guess we BOTH deserve something good then. :D [/Joke]

Missed that episode, nameslave (link me to it). I only caught the criticisms of the very first medallions someone else did (they prompted me to create the current ones to replace them). I'm just playing around though. I'm happy they've had staying power. :-) With all the new design, I'm sure these could have been redesigned easily too.

Oh ... that was looong ago, before Adam took over DNForum, and it actually happened over at the OTHER place. ;) LOL! Never mind.

Gotcha. Yeah, loads has happened since. I found the dangling keys a nice creative addition, though... I'd touch up the "wire" personally. :-)

Nameslave, I just found the genuine pewter "Cheapskate" medallion you were talking about. That was a funny time. :-)
