i have gotten a few replies back...asking "How Much?".....now...how do i respond to this??

i have seen similar keyword names sell for about $25,000 on DNJournal...do i reference these?.....do i ask for more as i think my name is a better name?....how do i respond whereas i do not screw myself??

Since you solicited first, I think you should offer price.
Price will depend on...

You need to know your potential buyer.
Do as much research as you can about the buyer.
Do they know potential of your domain?
Do they know power of the good domain?
How large are they.
What's their purpose of buying your domain?
Are there any possible alternate domains from other domainers?

Good luck Tony.

Brilliant post!!
Thank you Mike
I have always been worried about emailing potential end users because of the anuti spamming laws in various jurisdictions
Am I being paranoid?
Good idea about using the domains email address
Presumably you forgo PPC for a while while you try and sell

Joe, as long as you send them out individually and one by one you arent doing anything wrong... you are ok !

so.... i got hosting-directory.com sold today less than 2 wks after acquiring it

nice and healthy ROI of close to 10x which is about what i average overall for most deals i do this days

there is a huge market out there for $500 - $1000 domain sales and flips if u have good domains or ones that are in demand and know how to "market" em properly ;)

Really excellent post, I have tried the valuation method in forums and it is rubbish for sure. I buy domains based on if "I" like them and feel they would be of value to someone.

I started a few years ago with a few web hosting domains. Bought a few companywebhostingreview.com domains, developed them and one went gang busters. I then sold that domain to the company and made all my reg fees for domaining for quite a few years to come in that one sale.

I did it all in one phone call :)
