The domain you could have regged but didn't

I recently had Fernie.tv in my shopping cart but didn't pull the trigger.
Last night, I would have regged it but it was gone.
Fernie is a ski town in BC that will probably continue to have good snow levels even when other ski destinations run out due to global warming. It's also fairly close to Calgary, which has a major airport and population.
Was going to use the .tv tools for a forum, videos, etc. site

Anyone else have the same thing happen to them with a domain? Doesn't have to be .tv

Oh yeah. A few stick out though. One in particular was when the .pro first became available to "anyone". I couldn't decide if it was worth the money, so I waited until morning. It was taken overnight. Not that .pro is a powerhouse or anything, but I have seen some decent sales. The name was Safety(dot) pro. Lots of potential there.

It's the cracked code for hd-dvd players. So that people can burn their hd-dvds. There was a huge unforeseen revolt on digg.com because of a C & D letter regarding this sequence and now it's everywhere.

Don't worry about fernie.tv

The .tv extension threw away its credibility when they drove up prices on their names and made premium names. Now they're in the process of lowering them. Look at business.tv, now at 500k per year. (used to be 1 million) Not many people are going to throw away that kind of money for something so useless. .tv is garbage.
