Hi everyone,

I copied and pasted this from alldomains dot com.

".md domain names will connect the entire healthcare community, from individual doctors and nurses to hospitals, educational sites and more. A .md Web address will instantly distinguish a Web site as being related to healthcare. .md names are available to anyone. .md registrations are $129.95 for one year, $249.95 for two years, or $599.95 for five years."

This may very well be the next hot extension for domain resellers. Give your opinion in this thread.

Old news BigMack... It's been available for quite a while now. It's way too expensive and it's not that great of an extension IMO (unless your a doctor).

From what I gather, you can already purchase these extension for a handsome reg fee. I am not sure from where though.

from what i see
www.doctor.md is forwarded to some free parking site in godaddy
and
www.doctors.md is parked in sedo
I wonder if those names will be profitable to develop or to park them

I'm sure it would pay for itself instantly if one patient found it and went in for a visit.

Max.md is one of the major .md registrars. .md domains have been available for quite sometime, they aren't new. Some other registrars have them as well.

yeah, they have been around for a long time, most of us made fun of them back then and still do :)

No matter how many TLDs they come up with...
.md (doctors), .mobi (mobiles), .etc ...
If the general public is unaware of these, then there is absolutely no future in them at all .
Even with the hype of the companies behind them and the few that reg'ed them.

i think it's as useless as .fm, which some radio station like... people are unaware of these TLDs

Very old news... I jumped on it while back. I think I used Dotz.md!

I had live.md, outlook.md and others and let them all drop. Fun while it lasted.

(.com) is stuck in everyones brain, and will always be KING :first:
