Which is the reason we got IPv6. But yeah, you're right, the article is actually about the shortage of IP addresses.

ok...now that we understand that..... how will it effect current domain names when Internet Protocol version 4 is changed to version 6?

More IP addresses will require more domain names so does that mean it gives Domainers better opportunities for more names or does it lesson the value of the current names? ....or both?

I agree, though, the title is misleading. There will not be a shortage of domain names, just a shortage of internet addresses.
