Dnjournal's latest newsletter had an article warning about generic domains becoming easier for others to take away. It seems like no domain is safe from being claimed, especially if you are not using it, and even if you're parking it. If you're a big company and want a domain, the price to go through the process is peanuts and you have a good chance of winning. As more domains get taken away, the more it will happen, it will just feed on itself.
