I think I might have not introduced myself here yet. I am involved in other forums but not on this subject.
I was an independent ISP starting in 1995 and ended up losing my butt. Others did well who started in that window of time (actually a bit before) if they were in high density areas.
So I have my old domain since 1995, went out of business in 2001 but kept my domain name to retain customers to the folks I sold them to when my business crashed. It is still there and I like having the same email address for 13 years.
Anyway I own a few mdbutler domains and the big 3 rectalcraniectomy domains. I am just now getting started with some marketing ideas.
If you don't recognize rectalcraniectomy think rectal and cranium and ectomy as a medical procedure and you're there! I think they would be great for political blogs and I have some other ideas with obfuscatory words.
Right now I am checking whether others want my domain tgn.net more than its current useful purpose where it is. I may end up using it in some other way, it is all about the $$.
