Am I missing something here?

imbd.co is on auction at TDNAM. Here is the current data:

imbd.co - 32 Bid $6,505 2D 3H

Now, I am assuming that people have the belief that this is a typo of imdb.com?

What in the hell is going on?

It is asinine to promote a domain extension as a typo of .com (.cm and .co). Now, how to view this - a double typo?

IMDB is taken in every extension thanks to IMDB.

AND, IMBD is taken in every extension...again thanks to IMDB.

What I see is every imbd is a parked page. I can see getting traffic to imbd.com as a typo for imdb (very easy to reverse the d and b). I can see that imbd.com getting the traffic and typo clicks.

But imbd.co currently at $6500+???

Are the bidders counting on getting traffic from people entering a typo of a typo???

And how long would it take to see an ROI???

i saw that yesterday too, a lot of bidding on gd does not make sense - i like to see a page that confirms all the sales that close.

I agree with Hope... Wait for the sales report, then wonder why they wasted $6.5k or more! I can't see any reason why this should be a legit sale

That's close to nothing, let alone that it will hardly convert into anything.
