I have had many crazy bidders/buyers but this one gets the sedo award:

Offer: "$750"
Comment: "I wanted to pay no more than $500.00 for this but have bid up to your minimum. Would you consider a discounted price of $500. USD? "

WTF?

lol...and what was your response or have u not yet?

I tried to be nice.
I just said I had offers up to 5k and my counteroffer was a lot higher.

The clown replied:

I represent the company that owns the Registered US Trademark xxxxxx. Our attorney advises us that we shoud go through the UDRP process (which will cost us $1,500 USD) and that we in all likelyhood will get the URL back from you, in which case you would recieve nothing. My bid was an effort to let you make something eventhough we have the TM rights. I am disappointed in your counter offer as it prooves bad faith. See Sedo Legal Section. My offer of $767 USD stands, and if it is not accepted I will pursue our rights to xxxxxx.com though all available legal channels. Thank you for your consideration.

... What do you think is he serious or do you think he forgot to put off is lol pants from yesterdays party? XD

All depends on what the name is. Most of these guys of course have no rights to the name, but sometimes they do. I know I lost a big one like that.

It's a 4 letter domain with many usages.

Here's a question - is there a TM on the LLLL that you own?

If yes and it is a generic / many uses (like you said), are ads pointing to the TM or related sites?

There are 3 TMs in US. Non in Greece.

Domain has ads that are related to a service that has a similar name in Greece.

Here is another one:
11/25/08 Buyer´s Offer: 600 EUR
11/25/08 Buyer´s Offer: 610 EUR View
The other party has made the following comment with this offer:
Your offer is so high. I'm ready to pay $50 for this domain. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks.
