perhaps. that's a college dance marathon. i hardly think they are going to send the sharks after me. i've had this domain for a long while. TM issues aren't really on my mind for this domain.

i've defended myself many times against SERIOUS companies (as in billion dollar multi-nationals). i have a very good gut for intellectual property stuff. i'm safe here.

this thread has gotten off topic, so might be time to close it.

I'm no legal expert but I know how to look up TM's.

Where did you come up with "horrible"?
I said serious. As any TM issue is serious. Whether its a fortune 500 company or Joe Smoe company operating out of his/her garage.

You asked for an opinion and I gave one.

i am a bit of an expert. i have had lots of experience with this stuff. knowing how to look up TMs is one thing. knowing that having a TM doesn't necessarily entitle you to owning 'yourTM.com' is another. unless the TM includes '.com' or the word is completely unique and has no other meanings or associations, then you have every right to own the domains.

don't be a victim of reverse-cybersquatting.

revlon tried to take charlie.com away from me (they have TMs and lawyers up the wazoo). they failed.

i have other similar examples.

i don't want to talk too much about any legal stuff i've gone thru. i can tell you that another domain i had to defend a bit was activetrader.com. i was victorious. good thing, because i recently sold it for a nice profit.

Don't ignore these @ names. They can make money ( not as much as charlie.com though).
