But thew conditions are right for snow tonight - all we need is some precipitation (which the radar doesn't seem to support that).

Cold & dry air, dry ground, a certain bite in the air and chill in the wind. Weather station is whowing 43.34 degrees and dropping (about 1.5 degrees per hour - should be in the high 30's by morning). Humidity is low and holding steady.

Plus the smell of snow.

I don't think it'll happen because of the lack of precipitation around and the pressure is too high (1023mB), though. :(

Brought some plants in. Only worried about my big ....ummmm... old age.. what're the plants you hang from the tree? .... that. Too big & heavy to move easily.

A lot of my clients are working all night (I take care of a lot of plant nurseries).

Looks like Jax will get low 20's overnight. No flurries? :D

Actually, I wish I was back home in Maine.

On the pond

My weather station is reporting 37.58 degrees now, 61% humidity and the pressure is the same as last night.

Word up, it's mad cold in these parts! brrrrrrrrr

It's Globull Warming, When it gets warmer, that's Globull Warming, and when it gets cooler, that's Globull warming too... Don't worry though, Globull warming will stop during Obama's first term in office, then will resurface the day after our next Republican president is inaugurated.

No, it's not any kind of warming, it always gets this cold a few nights every year. It's even snowed here, once, about 30 years ago. :)

We're going to warm back up over the next few nights.
