closed threegold.com has a snap. WHY????

To me, this name isn't really that good, why would somebody snap it? Is it worth even $69.00

I/ve seen way better names here get appraised at zero.

Presumably it has a value to someone - maybe they've got a product called threegold or perhaps its Gregr setting up a triple gold membership!

Must be worth something to whoever has a snap one it. I think the question should be, why did you check to see if there was a snap on that domain.

I saw it was on hold list when doing a search for gold. I check snaps at random sometimes, as I am new to that, and try to get a feel for names that are snapped.

try doing a little research. threegold.com has a 550 link popularity. I would snap it too if I could.

Even if not one of those links is from google? Is everybody starting to pay $70 a pop for link pops? Nobodys ever going to type that name in. How do you know if your going to get hits? How many links does one expect to get for $70?

It's possible the snap that was used was quite old.

A snap decreases in value as time goes on.

A snap with 1 or 2 months left on it is not worth $70.00. It is worth about $6-12 dollars.


As a snap expires it becomes easier to apply it to less valuable names as the owner is trying to get something for his original $69
