They will quickly get the hell out of the way and you will be one person closer to the front of the line. It is a bad name, and you must be independently wealthy to keep flushing money down the toilet like this.

I am pretty sure there is no hope, since I have a feeling you are too stuborn to open your eyes. There is no earthly reason why the insight it took to register this name should ever be rewarded by society.....and it won't be.

My Daughter loves her 'Littlest Petshop' pets and I thought this could be another possible name to monetize for selling some kind of toy pets.

I thought it was worth regging and perhaps a few bucks to someone who felt comfortable enough to speculate on developing it.

This is a DN that would only be worth speculating on if it was developed with a good vision of its potential!

This DN is not worth anything for a person without any vision at all!!!

How does a comment like this apply to a request for opinions specific to a domain name's potential value (or lack thereof)?

Is there a benefit beyond empowering the self-appointed expert? Unsolicited and sweeping statements that aim directly at the poster, rather than the domain in question, seem off topic and inappropriate.

For months now he has been listing worthless names and asking people for opinions. If he is entitled to list these names then I am entitled to give my opinion. He is not making any progess and just doesn't understand what makes a name have value. It gets old seeing the same old garbage.

My opinion is the name is worth less than zero. It is infecting people right now. Not only did he pay to register the name, but you have to think it has cost him at least 30 minutes to an hour of his time posting the name here and checking back on the comments. So, $10 to register, and if his time is worth $20 an hour then he is up to well over $20 on this name. That is what most people don't get. You are not only out the registration fee, but the clock starts ticking immediately and every waking moment you spend on silly names like this is a moment that you will never get back...........and if your time is worth at least minimum wage you should realize how bad these names really are. That is why they are worth far less than zero.

If you like the name then go ahead and buy it and it will infect you too. I didn't even add up the time it took to park the name, add it to his lists, etc. He is also probably daydreaming about the name every day, so that is probably 10 minutes per day that he is thinking about this name. That is 300 minutes per month that he is basically not being productive. That is 5 hours right there if he just thinks about this name for 10 minutes per day. If he is worth $20 an hour then there goes another $100 per month.

There are better ways to spend your time than on horrific names. To those who think otherwise, I suggest you start making cash money offers for these names that I value at zero. Put your money where your mouth is or offer something other than fantasy land best-case scenarios.

Some pets are tiny, and somewhere in the world is the tiniest pet. This is not genius level registratoin of names. Trust me.

I think WhoDatDog gets a bad rap sometimes, just because he can be a bit brutal. He isn't saying anything to geodic that others haven't already tried to tell him in more gentle ways - without success. At a certain point, I stop appraising names for people that just don't seem to want to learn more, or are happy with whatever they are doing (even though it may be so contrarian as to be foolish).

Geodic (and others) buys domains like lottery tickets, hoping that by some magic he will end up with a 6 or 7 figure winner that will make his whole effort worthwhile. Who knows, it could happen - somebody always wins the lottery. it's just unlikely it will be him. But, if he doesn't want to be a "grinder" flipping for XX-XXX , a "creator" generating revenue from developing names, or an "investor" putting in some serious cash in quality names or revenue names to get back a modest return, that is his business. But, when he asks for appraisals over and over on these names, he'll need to develop a thick skin for the responses.

TiniestPet.com is cute, but so are an infinite number of other options available for reg fee.

I am NOT interested in winning any DN lottery, contrary to what has been said.

As far as anyone trying to 'make me see the light', I am NOT interested in getting preached to from any ones personal perspective!

I have said that I do see things a bit different from most people and that most of what I post would need to be developed as the DNs do not have much, if any, intrinsic value.

Listing DNs on this forum for appraisals and for input is completely harmless from my point of view, despite what others might think!

It is interesting to see what the page rankings I can get on the different search engines by the way that I list the DNs I put up on this forum!

There are some interesting contacts that I have made with just listing my DNs on this forum and is definately worth putting up with the noise that sometimes is precipitated by a few responses from some on this forum.

It is interesting to see some of the different comments and the extent that some go to 'preach' their own personal beliefs!

Back in my university days, the psych dept would give extra credit to participate in responding to certain information for research.

I am thinking that by analyzing the different responses of some of the different people on this forum, it could be very interesting to see what conclusions, diagnosis might be had!

I really do not like some of the comments regarding the so called use of bad english from some members on this fourm! This is an international forum and respect should be given to all who participate on this forum and citing that some of the members english is not up to whatever standard that other members might think it should be is wrong! Communication is so very important in life and when someone is trying to communicate, disrespectng them for not communicating in perfect english should NOT be tollerated on this forum!!! For some members on this forum, english might be their third or fourth or whatever language! It is my very strong opinion that expecially ANY RED member on this fourm that disrespects any other member for not using so called 'proper english', should have his or her red turned black forever! I have noticed, a while back, one outspoken against 'proper english' threads was turned from RED to black - 'good on' whomever made that happen - a definite move in the right direction!

What I can't figure out is: why are the same people who voice concern about wasted time and money on far fetched domain scheming willing to "work" pro bono, spending an awful lot of volunteer time and energy with pretty good odds they will never see minimum wage back? Is it charity? Or does self entertainment justify the cost?

I have been waiting for a couple of potential investors to step forward for some time now!

I have sent one check back for $25k and have NOT signed other deals awaiting more reasonable terms and conditions.

I basically develop technologies and I play with these DNs on the side although I have meant to have a lot of them developed already.

Yea right, another pie in the sky type of guy!

I have developed some real relevant technologies just SCREAMING to be monetized with the proper funding but not from GREEDY investors!!!

I can sit a long time as I have already shown those who are probably awaiting me to have a fire sale!

But I can NOT honestly say WHEN I will get what I have been awaiting for over 4 years now, PROPER FUNDING on at least one of my many different technologies!

I have a cell phone tx-rx enhancement device that can work on ALL CELL PHONES!!! I am reading it to be my 'sacraficial cow' for only 35k for 51% of the whole project plus applying for all relavant patents ($?) including the world wide patent rights. If I could get a 'hello' to Steve, I am sure he would not hesitate to drop $1m on this as my current buyout offer!

I have a working prototype and I have tested it with my field strength meter and have had GREAT SUCCESS with using it on my cell phone!

Others that I have talked with on my cell phone are amazed as to my reception that I get from my house compared to me NOT using it!

I took my 9 year old Daughter up a local mountain that I used to run a lot and I got better reception from the top of the >9k ft mountain that I currently do at my present house!!!

All I need is one of my many different projects to get properly funded and then you, along with everyone else who frequents this part of this forum can see what my visions have been on my, many so called, worthless DNs by going back and seeing what I have listed for appraisals!

Why would anyone help anyone? Your view of human nature is pretty harsh. If you see someone heading for a disaster it is better to try to steer them away. If you know they are doing something wrong it is best to at least tell them. I know that many old-time domainers need new people to sell to, so many won't help. Geodic isn't even new, so I don't use kid gloves with him. He is wasting his time and I have told him this a few times, but I think my work with him is probably done. He is free to do it his way and he does have a pretty good energy.

How can you evaluate anyones vision on a DN without even having a clue as to what the person has in mind for it?

I'll bet your evaluation is based on what YOU see its potential is and not that I have developed a new technology that does 'concentrate' all very small placer heavy concentrates including gold, even <400 mesh!

But thats ok, that is what this forum is about, anyone giving his or her opinion on what is posted here!

One just needs to be humble enough to NOT believe that he or she KNOWS everything about ALL the DNs potential but just give an opinion from their point of view, not an absolute evaluation of its potential forever and ever!

The way the DNs work, at least in some small part, is that someone out there may have a specific vision for the use of an obscure DN and to that person it 'fits' what he or she is looking for and telling that person that it is 'totally worthless' under all circumstances is completely STUPID since you may NOT understand its intended use!

One needs to temper their comments based on their own knowledge & awareness or the lack thereof on any specific DN! ABSOLUTE evaluations on ANY DN from anyone is implying that they know everything, all potentials and I beg to differ with that!!!

If you want to evaluate a DN based on google hits, other stats then that is ok! Just have the awareness and humility that you are NOT 'all knowing' and there are specific uses that you may NOT have a clue on and should NOT tell ANYONE that the DN that they have posted is utterly useless in all circumstances - that would be illogical and utterly STUPID!!!

Like with my GoldConcentrator.com, those are the ONLY two words that say what I have developed as simply and as powerfully as possible! There are no big hits on it but it fits my technology to a 'T'!
There are many Trillion $ worth of very fine gold throughout the world that could be recovered using my new technology!
In highschool I read about a Million dollar dredge that was built around the turn of the century on the lower Colorado River to try to recover the very fine gold that was discovered there. That would be a lot more money in todays dollars! The gold turned out to be so fine that the dredge could NOT recover the gold and it is still sittng on the San Jaun river, a tributary to the Colorado River.
I have been down under and prospected for gold there and saw very fine gold there! I have talked with a person from Chili that wanted me to go with him down there and help recover the really fine gold that was coming out of the rocks that the dredges could NOT recover! There is really fine gold throughout the entire world!!!
The same with places from the Rio Grande River throughout the western US to a Huge deposit in Ca, Ak, Canada, there is more really fine gold than ANYONE can imagine!!! If all of the really fine gold was to be recovered and put on the market, it would seriously depress the price of gold! Lucky my technology does need workers to process the placer materials and it is not totally automated!

Another one to 'hello' is my SensingTechnology.com - the concept of a 'living building'. A VP from GE told me that hotels in Vegas could save millions of $ per year by autmatically controlling their environmental controls when a person was or not in the room! Homeland security, airports, any buildings could have this technology in then and allert firefighters if anyone was still in a building if it was to catch fire so the fire fighters would NOT risk their lives looking for people where NOT in the building! IT is a 'star trek' kind of technology!

Without the specific knowledge and awareness of any DNs potential use, one needs to temper thier comments to what their perspective is and not to give absolute evaluations under all circumstances!

I agree that freely sharing expert advice only to repeatedly have it ignored or irrationally debated sucks.

I actually make my living sharing (selling, really) advice, but I do also help people just to be nice, especially when it comes to trying to help them deal with or avoid obvious, preventable mistakes. Likewise, I get tired of making the same suggestions more than once, and seeing the same person run into and then lament resulting problems, or place blame elswhere without self examination; it gets tedious.

I visit this board for ideas and advice. I'm a total novice; a money waster. I buy too many domains that (in my mind) relate to my business, with the intention that if I have them nobody else can. I also buy some domains to resell...if I'm lucky. I do this instead of wasting money on the claw machine, with similar results. I sell just enough domains to have a very slight case of gambler's ruin. When I don't like the advice I get here, I take it on the shoulder. I asked, right? Sometimes I'll get told "0" for a value and then along will come a buyer who pays me lots more than I paid. (Therein lies the gambler's ruin reinforcement!) Sometimes on this board, certain persons' (ahem) advice can sound a bit condescending; however blowing off slightly offensively packaged advice isn't hard to do.

I'm backing off to make popcorn; this is an entertaining education.

You may be the world's greatest developer , and maybe even the world's greatest businessman, but the fact of the matter is that you don not have any clue as what what makes a domain name have value. For the the time you have been in the game, you are really about the only person I have every seen who hasn't at least understood the basic concepts. That is not up for dispute. Whatever success you have with your names is really irrelevant to what this thread is.....an appraisal thread.....not a development thread.

The names are absurd, but I feel like I have done my part so I will not offer you any more opinions.

I am happy with my DNs and I have no problem with anyone appraising them - even at reg fee or -$, that is one reason I post them here!

I am still using this forum to see how the internet, probably through the spiders, takes my posts and ranks them on like google and other search engines. I have experimented with some of my posts and found that if I can take a few key words and or phrases that are in some of the highest rated pages and put them in my post, it really does help the page raking that google gives it! Interesting!

Once in a while there is even a contact made that has led to a sale!

If you do not like the DNs that I post here, cool, you can say so but it is so low class to try to throw mud in a persons face and then try to rub it in his eyes - with personal attacks on the person - not the DN!

I do however believe, very strongly, that personal attacks on anyone here in this forum for ANY REASON should NOT be tollerated!!! That only drags down this forum to a lower class forum, lower than it should be, in my opinion!

AngerVenting.com is available and could be regged for an Anger Venting forum!

We all should act as well behaved adults that respect all others but we always can respectfully disagree with whatever is being evaluated, debated, etc. The key word here is 'RESPECTFULLY'! I am teaching my 9 year old this and we as adults should have already learned it!

Vehicle Electrification is a term used in the Automotive Industry to make, convert and modify vehicles to Electric Power, Google hits ~128k and there is a lot of info out there on it!

I normally do not put up what I am intending to do with my DNs, I do not feel it is necessary, I am just looking for people who might have some personal insight into what I am posting.

I put up HighPerformanceKits.com a while back and I got some good contacts and ideas as how to eventually monetize it.

This is a good forum for appraisals and ideas as to how to monetize the DNs - NO one of us knows everything!!! But this collective, on this forum, has the potential to provide a well rounded perspective on most anything if they are NOT afraid to post without getting personally attacked or ridiculed!

I wish us all success in all of our endevors! But it would be so nice for all of us to be respectful to all others even though we can strongly disagree with them on everything.
