tips:
1) do your research
2) If you feel the name is generic enough and brandable, then go for it.
3) repeat step 1, make sure it is taken in all other major extensions
4) check OV results, and for ccTLDs make sure you are thinking long term
5) Ed is usually in a bad mood when appraising

Well Tips.cc just occured to me as a very good domain name for tips idk..it can be a good site IMHO...and rather than some1 going for goodtips.com etc..I guess Tips.cc would look better...idk

I do not fully agree with Ed30. The part I agree is :

- don't buy .cc to resell the names any expect big $$$

But....

- developed, it can be a nice extension imho. I know a few popular .cc sites and got one .cc developed myself ( www.counters.cc )

Try to develop the name, and it might be worth some cash in a while.
