Ok so I bought a bunch of lady gaga related domains, Im sure you guys saw my post... I deleted all of them, but I have a quic k question I would like some opinions on.

I searched TESS and found the 3 active tm's lady gaga has, but she has none for just "gaga"

I have a few domains with "gaga" in them, you think its ok to keep those?

Man, being new to domaining, the learning curve is getting a bit pricey with these deletes... cheaper than a lawsuit I guess....

TMs are not only based on words but also usage. Gaga could be used for a baby related site (gagatoys, gagagifts etc, "gaga" is often used to express baby talk) but once you tread into music (or niches related to Lady Gaga) then you will be infringing.

Don't just look for words in the TM, also look for their usage.

I see, these sound like deletes too then, tossed right into the pile of "learning curve"

ughhh....... thanks for the advice draggar

dont forget the barbie and yankee ones too ;-)

Invigor, I know you got my back! They are SO DELETED! I also had svedkavodka.co.uk - deleted!
How foolish of me to think I could capitalize on trademarks, foolish Noob move.

Its ok, I stayed up late this weekend and learned new strategies = ) Lets see what happens...

Thanks again for the help guys
