Otherwise... I have been told that I can make money by
- offering a free subdomain service
- offering free hosting
Do people use this type of service with the ads on their web pages?

Does look good for a free hosting service, but then remeber free hosting isnt all that easy.. its really a pain. There are thousands waiting to abuse your service. If you got enough time & patience you can do that, but seriously i believe this domain is lot more worth than free hosting. But, one thing, you can get lotsa back-links from free hosting directories.. People do accept ads on free hosting sites..

Free URL redirection sites, well ppl dont accept ads much here..its not the way to go, with such a nice domain!

FYI - The biggest city in Canada is Toronto, which
is also called 'TO' for short. A subdomain or free email
service could be well targeted to there. Nice domain!
