I hesitated to post as I do not expect to recover my money any more, but just for the record and to notify fellow domainers. Toby Clements sold me WeightLossHerbs.com about 6 weeks ago and asked me to skip Escrow as it was a small transaction. I sent the payment via Paypal and I never received the domain. After numerous email exchanges and excuses, now, all his email addresses bounce back: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. Google brings some similar stories in the past. I wish I knew. I trusted him as I bought few domain names from him in the past. Besides my stupidity, how come somebody can ruin his reputation for just $325.00?

Toby is a guy that runs a newsletter in the industry. I have dealt with him years ago too, but I don't remember the details.
