In James Iles' latest blog post, he covers ten color .com domain names, their history, and what they are now.

My favorite color, Blue, seems to have changed hands several times. However, it still remains parked at Sedo to this date.

I found this post interesting because colors have always had a little part in my portfolio.

As previously mentioned, I love descriptive domains. A color used as an adjective + a noun of an animal is a perfect domain to have in the portfolio to await a large sale. While all possible combinations of those are taken, and sell for hundreds to thousands, even in the most obscure colors, you can still get color+noun domains fairly inexpensive which are still worth the wait.
