We are interested in finding an experienced broker for our domain name FindADate.com with the US Federal Trademark "Find A Date" that accompanies it.
The broker must have experience with closing sales on higher priced domain names.
This easy to remember, easy to recall, dating industry specific, direct navigation domain is not being sold for the traffic it receives, but for the branding/recognition the domain name will give a company.
Although we have never tried advertising via radio, television, and print, we feel these mediums would be excellent for this domain due to the extremely high recall of the domain when viewed/heard etc.
This domain has never been heavily promoted, but since 2001, FindADate.com has sold over 4,000 ($115,000) in date site memberships.
We are not selling the website, just the domain name.
With the recent popularity of televised dating programs, the potential is here for a media company to become a heavy player in the dating/personals market since the domain name FindADate.com succinctly describes its purpose, most of the large date site domains do not.
We are looking for the best offer a broker can bring us and are willing to pay a commission of 10-15% to that broker. We will only consider offers over $1,250,000.
