Hi All,

Just got back from the Dinner, the Chicken was Great.. you all missed it. Adam was very helpfull with the questions. He also shared Industry Tips with us. I look forward to the next one, Thanks Very Much Adam for organizing this for us and taking time out of your busy schedule to buy us Dinner and Drinks. For those of you who missed it, try to make it to the next one. Together we open more doors for one another. The first step starts with you.

it was a great night. once again i learned a ton of stuff. While I have a bad habit of bouncing from topic to topic (cause i have a lot to learn still), many tips and tricks were discussed but i think a repeating theme for us who are still new to this industry is "niche domains". I personally have found a couple of Niches that I am working with.

so some of topics discussed:

-Niche Domains
-Develop vs Park
-Keep vs Sell (take an offer or sit and wait) (opportunity cost (for you economic buffs))
-Appraisals
-Registrars
-Renewals
-Drops
-Comparing experiences with different domain industry companies
-Funny Stories - Mishaps and mistakes
-"Laziness" lol i think i fall into this one category more often then i should.

That's some of the stuff I remember. Batman had the right idea with the notepad (pss Batman shoot me a pm with that website name please).

Thanks to all who showed up, i keep learning good stuff and I'm always impressed with what everyone else is doing/has done or is planning.

Thanks to Adam for the dinner and great conversation.

I appreciate it.

Had a great time, food was great and Adam was very giving of his domain knowledge.
considering I am a part-timer at this it was nice to meet other domainers that I have seen around the forum and talk shop

Thanks again Adam for everything

DDDDDDDDAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

I can not believe this!

Adam, i would like to offer my help in setting up the next meeting if you are planning another one.
Please PM me if you have a moment.

Thank you in advance,

I would love to be in on the next meeting but Wednesdays (evenings) for me are almost always booked.

ok guys,

planning another get together for Feb 28th (no Raptors no Leaf games in town = no traffic) Post here and let me know who will be around for that time frame. Probably gonna be downtown somewhere. So post or pm me if your interested.

Thanks,

I may be able to make it, I'm up in Sudbury, but plan on going to TO anywhere from the middle of feb to the first week of march ;)

Adam,

When you're in Bahamas next time, you should come by and visit us.

Regards,
Richard.

In the next 6 weeks, I am in Dallas, Nassau, Phoenix, Los Angles and Las Vegas.
Anyone of those cities want to do something and I am in.
New york will be a Feb thing probably.
Already too damn busy ;)
-=DCG=-

Sometimes i can't believe what i read.
Adam is the 1st stop in Canada when it comes to this industry.
I constantly read that people might make it if it's within arms reach.
Don't get it...

I Will be in Vegas for Affiliate Summit from 23rd to 27th.
I was extending the trip to end of month, but rather be home for this meeting.

Thanks again Adam, and let us know where as soon as you can. It doesn't matter if it's up your way, downtown, airport, wherever, i'll be there.

Need me to contribute cash, time let me know.

Regards,
JR

BTW, was planning on meeting you as well Ian (ianccc)
Hope you can make it.
JR

Last post .... to JP

JP, if it's downtown somewhere, i'll swing bye and give you at ride over.

Sorry guys my fault I let the ball drop on this one.

I took a much needed vacation and just got back from Cuba on the 26th haven't had anytime to prepare anything. I will have to schedule a time for the second week of March.

I was thinking just a Cozy StarBucks somewhere for our meeting, seeing as we usually get under 10 people anyway. Let me know here or PM me if you think it's a good idea.
