In the first day this has had over 30 unique visitors.

Ideal for a supporters site?

Please state whether appraisal is for reseller or enduser value.

Thanks.

Nice GD catch!

Thanks!

I don't think GD are quite as good as they used to be, but they still get domains which don't have much competition, and occasionally get one with a bit more competition, like this one. (I think it had a $40 bid at NameWinner. and a $10 bid at enom)

Excellent, £80,000. Wait, maybe I'm a tad biased! mid xxx dollars on this, great to develop.

The spurs will sue you.
Not maybe, definitely.

If they want the name, they will come for you. Simple.

In the meantime make a supporters forum and cash in on adsense. If they come for you, simply pass over the name with no fuss.

Finished!

Thanks for all your comments, suggestions and appraisals.

Developing sites for income is not my forte (I can't do it! At least not yet.)

Would anyone like to develop this for me with, say a 75%/25% (you/me) split in income/profits?

Or would anyone like to buy it outright? Maybe I need to start a new thread in a different sub forum to pursue this idea?

Well, I would help you but I need to know on what?

Bloody lawyers, does this mean they have a trade mark or not?

Not too sure. If they can trademark it, presumably they would only be able to do so for the purpose of football related activities?

Their real trademarks would be things like "Tottenham Hotspurs". I think their main site is Spurs.co.uk, but 'spurs' being a generic name too would be open to use in areas other than football and in other geographical areas where there would be no confusion/conflict with the football team etc.

nice name :)

Thanks!

Just for interest, it looks like they did successfully register the trademark for (the place name) "tottenham" but only for goods and services specifically related to the football team.
