Hi people, I am new here and this is my first post.

I have had an offer for TouchScreenPad.com for $224 on sedo, I bought this domain as a bit of a punt as apple are heavily promoting their touch screen ipad, so I thought that if they catch on the term “touch screen pad” may be a good domain to have in the long term, anyway I thought it may have some value in that respect or perhaps for any other type of touch screen pad product, like I say I thought it was worth a bet for the long term. Incidentally somebody else is asking in the high xxxx for the plural. So I was just curious what you folks thought it was worth? Would you take the $224?

Many thanks in advance

NO... I wouldn't take $224. the value is still unknown, I don't think the ipad's first version is ground breaking enough, But I would bet they are going to come up with something much better in future. I would hang on a bit.

at very least ask for more.

Well $224 is a strange offer. I would counter at least low x,xxx if money is not an issue at the moment.

They have upped their offer to $299, but I think you guys are right I will hold out for something a little bit better.

I too am not totally convinced about apples touch screen ipad in its current form, but like you say it’s very early days and I think touch screen pads in one form or another could become quite popular in the not too distant future. I am sure they will get there in the end.

Thanks for the advice I really do appreciate it.
