closed Tour.ae / Golf.ae

The UAE has just switched from .co.ae to .ae, as it is becoming a major tourist destination with Dubai as the hub thought it might be worth picking up a couple of names to develop- Tour and Golf seem to be fairly good for the area.

Do you worst!!

I am curious.. how are the Golf courses at UAE? I would think they are hard to maintain with the heat and also curious does the humidity impede golfers?

Golf.ae is a great name but the popularity and viability of the sport in UAE is a major factor. Just my $.02 after spending 4 days in the US Western Open under intense heat.

The Dubai Open springs to mind - you should see some of the courses in that area - some really fine examples - as for the extension .ae that's a different kettle of fish altogether!

If that's true this name is worth a pretty penny IMO.

4 World class golf courses inthe UAE plus many others, and yes the Dubai open will be known by even the newest golfer. As for the extension, it is exclusive to the UAE, probably the richest country in the world.

I think it was down for a long time but I noted that Shed.ae is available!! Even a shed in Dubai costs megabucks!

The major airline hub for flights from the east to the west , and back again !( not the US east to west coast) with an airline that has been voted the world's best for a number of years. Given the opportunity you should fly with them.

If you get the chance you should go to Dubai- Tiger would not go because of some insignificant conflict over oil supplies.

In the airport you can buy a lottery ticket for a first prize of US 1,000,000 and there are only 5,000 tickets each draw, good odds. Maybe they will give me a free ticket for the advertising!
