It appears the seller bought it off Afternic for $200 on Dec-19th and resold it on Ebay for $701 ... a 350% return in less than 10 days!

And what's more amazing is that the domain, with the right marketing, could likely be sold for far more than what even humplik paid.

The returns in the domain business are incredible - and there's no end in sight ... it's going to get even better in 2006 :)

Anyways, my appraisal of toured.com is low to mid $x,xxx ... especially if developed, even a just a little.

I just dont see it here

I mean, toured? ya it is short and has the word tour, and travel names are in demand, but it is the past tense of tour, as in, "I toured the country".

The word "toured" is rarely used.

$300 in my opinion

Which would make toured.com ideal for a website for people to discuss, post pics, videos, etc of tours / trips they had been on.

Very good point. I could see such a site model fluorishing. The engines would fall in love with the new daily discussions and stories everyone has to tell of where they've been. Just throw up travel ads and you'll be well on your way to a successful, strongly branded site.

Seems a bit forced, but whatever...
