Hello,

I would very much appreciate it if you could kindly estimate the potential value of Tourism.tv, this would help me to set my asking price for a possible buyer.

Thank you very much.

Hi,
will say excellent domain! Afraid .tv's aren't my bag so can't help on value. However Domain Jedi appears to be the .tvmeister. Look him up, he may help you assess it. Unless he's the buyer! :gossip:

Cheers, Pred

.TV's are tricky but in this case the keyword lends itself to it and would make a great travel channel type site. Not sure about value but it is a good name.

This domain is great for a tourism cable channel!

As for giving it a dollar value, I would need to know what the annual renewal fee is.

I have previously spoken with Blue via PM and I know Blue is in good with the www.tv registry. This means that he has most likely negotiated the best possible renewal price.

I would probably ask for $10,000 on this one.

By that logic Hedonistic.com must be worth twice as much as HomeLoans.com

It is a great .tv domain, no denying that though.

Thank you ALL for your reactions, I really appreciate.
No doubt this name has a fantastic potential as it covers a great variety of themes/issues, the big umbrella name for vacations, from luxury hotels to camping, from culture to recreation issues (by the way I am just remembering that I also own Recreation.tv). As mentioned by EliteDomains it can easily make a 'travel channel' site, at least on the first instant look it recalls immediately such attractive thematic networks. Development potential is obvious, but I do not have the time and appropriate means to develop the name as it would deserve.
Without dreaming of the deep pocket end-user/buyer I am concerned by setting a realistic/reasonable asking price, and I understand from your first reactions that the 'average' is $5k/$10k, $10,000 being a fair price, am I right ?

The listed renewal fee is $500-.

Many thanks for your skilled and spontaneous reactions.

I think the name worth few thousand to reseller. What makes things worst is this renewal fee. If you find an end user the name can be sold for more than 10k, and the renewal fee is not a big deal for organization.
