How the hell did this one get through?

11k for an all premium LLL.com? Are prices falling or was this just some one off case?

The buyer must of accepted an offer because this one would of done better in auction.. Maybe the seller needed some quick cash or something like that. It's hard to say.

don't assume every seller on sedo is a member of dnf or forums
they may have been happy with the offer
the seller can quite easily go into sedo management panel and prevent sales and purchases being published on sedo homepage (a schoolboy error )

after all if people didn't sell below market value, there wouldn't be the non-stop flipping you see on here

talking of which, looks like it just got flipped again

how much though i dunno :ok:

i am assuming though dude, the saleprice on sedo is what this guy bought at recently. if he used sedo for escrow only then strictly speaking it's not their sale to publish. also was definitely undersold. i think the first case scenario is what happened

I think it was For Sale here... On the 8th.

When did this sell on Sedo for the $11K?

Edit: I see it posted today for $11,112 Hmmm sold here on the 8th, then the 11th on sedo? Does sedo show escrow transactions? Like if the buyer used escrow for payment?

That's odd. According to the seller (@ NP thread) the domain sold slightly below the $20k mark.

No, nothing to do with me! I wish. I bought it off a guy called Seth who must have found it on Sedo for this blockbuster 11K deal. He flipped to me (for much more).. He did alright from himself. There is still deals to be had on Sedo.. clearly. The original seller obviously didn't trust email offers.

As someone else said, don't assume all holders of LLL .com's are knowledgeable of the value of such domains, now pushing $10k minimum in the reseller market, regardless of letter quality. Late in 2007, a former owner of a 1993 LLL .com coyly admitted having sold it for "about $5k" to its new owner.
