Hey Everyone,

Lets say I have one dedicated IP address and one main site hosting with it.
Lets say ABC.com

I want to park over 50 domains to ABC.com because I want to monitor the traffic of each of these domains to track type in traffic, etc.

How can I set this up so I can easily monitor the traffic on all these domains and have them all point to one location - eg: PPC Search engine, etc?

Would I be better to setup each of these domains as a separate site?
Would it be better to have them setup as addon domains?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Get someone who is good in PHP/Perl to work something out for you. He should do it in 1-2 hrs and charge an affordable amount.... Best wishes !

This is an issue which has come up many times and is never fully answered by anyone at dnf or other forums. It is tough to believe everyone needs to hire a custom programmer to do this and there is no script we can buy to easily do it, or step by step instructions to do it yourself.

An additional important issue which I do not believe was never fully answered is exactly how to make the domain going to the live site use so called "Masked Forwarding," i.e. the name of the redirected domain shows in the address bar window and not the actual website url it was forwarded to.

Perhaps DCG or ImpactAdmin could explain how?

That's because it's not simple to do. Everyone seems to want their script to act slightly differently. You have to have control over dns and your webserver, as well as a dedicated IP address. These aren't hard to come by, but are significant hurdles for noobs.

Honestly, it's better this way IMHO.

I think there are some here who would love to buy it from you.

This is definitely the best way forward....

To answer RealNames' query, well I did look for one myself all over a long while back and came across articles on how to do it. Since I do not code myself I got a programmer to do a customized one for me.
As for Domain Masking that should be an easy solution if you check with the DNS services you use at Hosting or Domain Registrar level. All in all, the final way is to have a programmer do 'exactly' what you are looking for. This way you can check on more stats !

Another tip would be to use Enom's TrafficVista that is available on trial for free initially.

Thanks for the feedback.

Is it for sale? I would probably offer to buy the script from you if it is usable by me and reasonable price, and if you would like to sell it for some revenue.

That should not be a problem.
We can move this to email so email me please at [email protected]
I'll get your requirements, see if they match what I have (some customization possible) and will let you know....
Thanks !

I'm a fairly competent PHP scripter, and could quite easily build something like this. Perhaps if we all agreed on that the specs/requirements should be, I could build a generic one that we could all use?
