I have a good domain registered in the name of a famous company's product.

That domain is parked with Sedo and is getting atleast 600 unique visitors a month. But makes a small money.

So, can I approach the particular company to have a deal over the domain ?

Please let me know your honest opinions.

Thanks.
But I don't think that company would approach me for that domain.

Why I am trying to approach the TM holder is because I am in need of some money.

Could you please tell me what would be the problem if I approach them ?

3 problems if you approach them:

1. You will lose the name
2. You will lose the name
3. You will lose the name

Thanks.

A gigantic lawsuit.

if you are currently earning ANY money from the domain and you "hand-registered" it. (means you went and looked it up and it was available to register) then be happy with whatever you get!

if the domain is not making any money, then you regged a dud!

move on to the next one...

imo

Thanks for your input.

I hand-registered the domains and are making atleast $6/mo .

Onething I forgot to tell you guys is that the domain is actually .IN and .CO.IN.

Is the trademark rules applicable even for .IN ?

Also I registered the domain only 3 months back though the brandname exist for about a year.
