My guess is that buying names for reg fee one week and then selling them for over $160,000 the next week doesn't happen too often. They didn't sell because they aren't worth the price to the people buying.....mainly experienced domainers.

I think songs.mobi is the only one that should even be on the list, and 88K is outrageous. The market simply isn't there to make every .mobi speculator an instant multi-millionaire because they bought a few names in a new extention.

I sold already 4 names, total amount $ 5.000. My buyers paid nice prices for the domains. In one or two years they may double in price. And offers keep on coming.

I can not imagine that investors won't take a risk in .mobi. Rick Schwarts did for 200K...

I agree one-hundred percent that lots of money will change hands on these names and that the smart people will get the money. Lots of money changed hands on Tech Stocks with no earnings during the Internet Stock Bubble as well. People traded Beanie Babies also.

There seems to be a lot of promotion of these names so it will likely last a bit longer than it normally would. I hope it lasts quite a while....less competition for the names I want.

Any announcement or report from moniker?
It's been a week since auction closing.

John said he will be able to tell us the actual names that made it into the auctions, & those that had bid interest and were sold, the week following the auctions.
Monte said more names are being closed this week.

I signed for 30 day exclusivity agreement and John said the exclusivity agreement only will apply to the names that make it into the actual live and silent auctions. If I have not heard nothing, does it mean I can start selling again?

I think it's time to move on.

about 50% of the domains have changed ownership thus far. The EPP code requirements definitely delayed processing a bit. Should be all completed within a week. - 400 names with EPP codes and some registered within 60 days plus more than 100 different buyers and sellers is quite a job to process and we are on track.

Suggestion, On your next auction.

You should provide a website where we can check the transfer status just like the escrow.com service. I guess you are aware of that process. Right now, I'm sending email to one of your staff just to get a status update. Kinda old school and slow process.
