i recently buy two domains from sedo auction, one was showing 500 un/day and the other one 100un/day.
i park those domains and the first one after one week have almost 0 traffic.
can any one tell me please why and how can happen this?

thank you

I think previous owner might do active advertising while you are not. If he pu the domain at featured list then there will be lots of visitors.

thank you for reply maybe is that but the traffic drop to almost 0 very quick.
is there any chance to find out if the traffic it was fake?
i have check and dont found any back links or any previous web site.
is any other way to find out what was that traffic?

thank you

That's why I never rely on Sedo's traffic when I buy names there. Be careful next time.

hi

go back and check your nameserver settings
or the redirect code,to be sure that's correct.

sellers can do things like, redirect traffic from one name to another to boost stats
or they will buy traffic or it could be bot traffic.

always do research on any name you're considering purchasing.

thank you everybody.
i check everything i think they buy trffic before they sale those names.
anyway i didn overpay so the damage its small

thank you
