I went to log in NameCheap and it said my accoutn was disabled because of too many failed login attempts. I guess the good news is whoever tried this couldn't figure out my password, but I don't even know why I would be a target. I don't have many domains with NameCheap and the ones I do have aren't all that valuable.

Apparently someone else thinks otherwise.

Keep it safe!

What sucks is that I cannot log in again until the middle of December.

I emailed them about it. They replied wanting to know my name. I haven't heard back since.

Call them directly, I have had much better luck when I contacted registrars via phone instead of going back and forth through email. Just my 2 cents.
