closed Truegemini.net 17,000 links

i got it through snap yesterday. the domain has 17,000 links in marketleap.

i got a total of 729 in marketleap, am i missing something?

I got only a little over 700 for www.Truegemini.net
And over 7000 for Truegemini.net

i see now, with out the www it does have overe 17,000 links.
with the www only about 700.
what exactly does that mean?

as long as your CNAME records are in place, and you create your A records to work with or without the hostname, the FQDN links should work the same with or without WWW, don't you think>

Because this are the real links with www.
if You only search for Truegemini.net then some search engines don`t give You the Real links! They give You answer also then, if in page is Truegemini and somewere also .net or something like that. Thats why so big difference. I think?

This is not true. There can be confusion if some of the links are email addresses or foreign domains like .com.au etc. but how many "truegemini.net's" do you think they are? Common sense must be used

ok, I didn't you had to always use with the www. Not every site links to a domain with www in front of it.

a URL is made of many components. http://www.rymarc.net/udn/dfs.htm:80 is an example of a full URL.

HTTP is the protocol that will be used
www is the hostname, ie the name of the actual server where the file you want is located. Note that more often than not it is a CNAME record in DNS...
rymarc.net is the domain name itself, with a .NET TLD
Your hostname and domain name together make what is called a Fully Qualified Domain Name, or FQDN.
/udn is the path. It's a folder on the web server.
dfs.htm is the actual file you wanted to access in the first place.
:80 is the default port number that HTTP listens to.

Bottom line is: the hostname is not required as long as DNS has a record that points to the right webserver. Most websites are set up so that the URL will resolve regardless of whether the hostname - www - is entered or not.
