Hi all,
I received a couple of offers for .ES domain names at Sedo, so these are now on auction:
playadelcarmen.es - Named for the up-and-coming resort destination on Mexico's Gulf Coast. With the location name in the domain. it's bound to rise to the top of search engine results. The term "playa del carmen" currently gets more than 8 million results on Google. A steal right now at $125.
tulum.es - Named for the ancient Mayan city that's an extremely popular tourist destination in Mexico. 4.4 million results for "tulum" on Google. Very reasonable right now at $225.
I am seeing a lot of new interest in .ES domain names overall. Multiple offers this year after just a couple in all of 2007. Has anyone else seen a similar trend?
I understand that .ES is becoming a de facto "Spanish language" TLD, for "espanol" not just for the country of Spain. With the Spanish-speaking web population growing fast these names are bound to increase in value.
Best,
Aces
