.tv domains worth anything at all?

I have some .tv domains. Just wondered if they go for any kind of good money?

Is it better to be brandable?

Lets take as an example
watch.tv
stufffrom.tv
buyoff.tv

(these are not my domains, I am just listing them for examples)

What would they be worth? Are .tv good to get into?

.tv is very good to get into imo. But like .mobi and other cctlds that brands themselves as something other then a country code, you need to buy names that works with the extension like watch.tv which you mentioned. I've sold tons of .tv names so far this year but right now I am on 'HOLD' as the extension grows in usage and popularity.

Try doing a search at NameBio.com and limit the criteria to the .tv TLD.

The average price, according to NameBio, is $5,109 among 233 known sales. However, that average is skewed by the top selling domains (see below). The median price looks to be somewhere around $350.

Well I have decided to be more specific. I have the domain iwatched.tv ... what are your thoughts on that one?

I have just put a post in the appraisals section but felt I should wrap up this thread with it too as you folks have been very helpful and the appraisals area always seems a little quiet

Just waiting for the nameservers to point over to SEDO but would love thoughts on the iwatched.tv domain name
