Hey Guys,

I grabbed:

ClassicCarTalk.com
HarleyDavidsonTalk.com

Overture searches are good! Plus there is cartalk.com and harleydavidonforum.com that both do FAIRLY well. :D

If I sell them undeveloped what might they bring in?

If I develop... more?

Cheers,
ezinestein

 Enough already about the trademark issue!!!

I can't remember who said it, but I've always loved and lived by the quote: "We don't know what we don't know." Amazingly true - if only we knew it.

You guys are in the domain name business, yet won't buy names that are trademarked. THANK YOU!

You see, that's where the traffic flows... and when done right (as a traffic generator) there is NO problem with the company holding the Mark.

http://www.HarleyDavidsonForum.com is a perfect example of this. Open since October 25, 2001 and going strong with over 100,000 visitors this past year! And NO problem with Harley Davidson! Wow... say it aint so.

Please enjoy their simple disclaimer regarding Harley's Mark:

This website is no way associated with Harley Davidson, Inc™. This is a non-commercial page, trademarked™ names are used in an editorial manner only, and to the benefit of the trademark owner, with no intention of infringement of their trademark™. Harley, Harley - Davidson® , the Harley-Davidson® logo, & the Harley-Davidson® Bar-n-Shield, Fat Boy®, Heritage Softail®, Springer Softail®, Road King®, Dyna Glide®, and Sportster® are trademarks™ or registered trademarks™ of Harley-Davidson, Inc®., Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

So please... Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid! At least until I grab a few more of those great names okay?

Remember, those who "don't know they don't know" what constitutes Trademark infringement are leaving that many more profitable names to those who do.

Cheers,
ezinestein

But "Harley" is not, so something like AboutHarley.com
would have no problem.

Someone could check further on this, butI think Harley is TM, as is HOG (Harley Owner's Group).

A cycle mfgr. in Tenessee builds a bike with a Chevy motor, they had to call it the Boss Hoss, because HD would not allow the use of Boss Hog.

HOGhangout.com would make a good forum for Harley owners, and it's unregged.

As far as my words, they were checked. It could be I missunderstood something.

Well, I just hope Ive made the right decission, considering the popullarity of the "chat" word, and that it has few searches on overture, while the "talk" version doesnt. I have regged:

ClassicCarChat.com (Classic Car Chat .Com). I like it, 3Cs, 4 including .Com look good IMO..

Tell me I did the right thing? ;)

Hm, not bad either.
However, limited to chat, while "talk" is good for forum too.
Forum and chat about the same OT searches 39/32, not so bright, "talk" 0, while Google shows 82 which is actually good,
not so much competition.
