If I see a domain I like but it is taken, is it ok to modify it by adding a prefix so, for example, specialdiet becomes a (or the) special diet? Equally with a prefix. Or are there grey areas where I would need to use some discretion?

In expireddomains.net or spamzilla.com what do the various colours indicate in the rows off domains? Thank you.

If the domain name you like is already taken, you can modify it by adding a prefix or suffix, but at the same time you must also pay attention to the availability of the domain name and not infringe on it.
