I've been looking for an end user for a dictionary dotcom I own, and checking out the names of those who have registered the other single and plural versions of it on Whois, as well as of the alternative name. Two thing have arisen I am curious about.
First, I noticed that the dotorgs of the names I've been looking up come up as Not Found, yet on checking they are all gone. What does this mean? It doesn't say the registrant is hidden or anything like that.
Secondly, I noticed that the plural dotcom of my name is listed as being registered only two years ago, although it had gone in 2001 when I registered mine. Do records only show the most recent registration?
