Please help me out with an appraisal on this one. To me it seems valuable but could be only because I own it. I know the .com is top notch so please let me know.

.com is worth thousands, .net may only be worth money for the .com own, it's not worth a company to invest in only to find out the .com is suing them.

Or now after seeing that there is no page for .com maybe you can trademark the name and devolop it and then go after the .com domain? Either way, a name like that is useless without the .com

ok thanks for the info. However, the .com will never be able to get the .net from me or vice versa because both of these names were registered in the early days of the internet and it cannot be proved either way that they were registered in bad faith. Getting a trademark now will be of no use in order to go after the .com.
